Filippo Eros Pani

Filippo Eros Pani graduated in Electronic Engineering and holds a PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering. He has worked for various ICT companies as a researcher and project manager.

In 2007 he began working as a researcher at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Cagliari. Among his research interests are Internet of Things and Knowledge Management.

He has acquired considerable expertise on technological transfer for SMEs and PA, and has been involved in the development, management, and implementation of more than 35 projects on basic, applied, and action research on different ICT areas, such as: Smart Cities; Smart Mobility; Cloud Computing Technologies for smart government; Intelligent Transport System platforms involving the detection of touristic flow data; software platforms for the collection and analysis of user content; mobility data and users’ preferences; document management platforms; content indexing and classification models; knowledge management; framework for the support of solutions for the dematerialisation; web based applications for digital library management.

He co-authored more than 40 publications in international journals and conferences.
