Lodovica Marchesi is a Fixed-term Researcher (RTDa) in Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari, within the scientific disciplinary sector INF\/01 \u2013 Computer Science (competition sector 01\/B1). Her research focuses on software engineering for blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, with specific interests in end-to-end supply-chain traceability (agri-food, pharmaceutical, waste management), DLT-based information ecosystems, security of decentralized systems, crypto-agility and quantum-resilient architectures, and the integration of DLT with IoT and Agile practices.<\/p>\n
She coordinates the research unit \u201cDLT for Supply Chains & Quantum-Resilient Architectures\u201d within the Agile Group at the University of Cagliari and is a Research Associate at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies (UCL CBT). She has held scientific responsibilities for work packages and research units in national and regional competitive projects on blockchain for supply-chain transparency, port logistics, secure data management, and innovative payment systems.<\/p>\n
She conducted a visiting research period at Brunel University London and is the author or co-author of numerous publications in international journals and conferences. She contributes to the scientific community as Program Chair, Workshop Chair or Program Committee member for venues such as IWBOSE, WETSEB, IEEE DAPPS, XP, ICSE, ECAI and UMAP. She also serves as Associate Editor for the Cureus Journal of Computer Science.<\/p>\n
She teaches the undergraduate courses \u201cInformatica 1\u201d and \u201cInformatica 2\u201d in the Mathematics degree program and has delivered invited lectures in schools and professional programs on blockchain and emerging technologies. Since 2012 she has also worked as an ICT consultant, with experience in software development and DLT-based systems. She is founding partner and CEO of the university spin-off Quantum Futuris S.r.l., focused on software solutions in quantum computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and IoT.<\/p>\n
